Just putting this here, as it seems I haven't posted shit for 8 years.
Guess I'm not a very good blogger.
Cheers

Don't forget to legalize Marijuana in California this November.

sos-logo-final

I didn't need to know that Joseph D. McNamara, ex San Jose Police Chief was a supporter of Proposition 19,  to know that the prohibition of Marijuana is as misguided as the prohibition of alcohol in the 30’s.  But now that I do, there is no question that supporting this prop on the Nov ballot will…

  • making available millions of taxpayer dollars intended for law enforcement to be used for “actual” crimes.
  • keeping millions more of California dollars, in California, and out of the pockets of modern day Al Capones.
  • eliminating street dealing, which makes it easier for children to buy Marijuana, as dealers don't ID.

And the list goes on.

So join me in support of the intelligent legalization of Marijuana in California.  Thanks

Pass Health Care Reform!!

STOP STUPAK!!

When it passed a historic health care reform bill, the House also adopted the Stupak amendment, a dangerous piece of legislation that would ban abortion from private and public insurance plans for millions of American women. Fortunately, the fight for women's health didn't end in the House, and our sharp focus is now on the Senate.

The Senate bill introduced by Senate Majority Leader Reid does not include language similar to the Stupak ban. Now we need the Senate's strong support to defeat any and all amendments to the Senate bill that would impose additional restrictions on women's access to reproductive health care.

President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and Speaker Pelosi have the power to put a stop to the discriminatory Stupak ban — and it's up to us to help them do it. Fill out the form below to sign our petition and join the millions of Americans who are speaking out to protect women's health and the right to choose.ws_banner_HCRStopStupak_970x80

We need your help. We are making our final push to make sure that the anti-choice Stupak amendment to the health care reform bill that passed the House of Representatives doesn't make it into the next round in the Senate. If we fail and the Stupak ban becomes law, it will be a huge step backward for women, resulting in the most severe restriction of access to abortion coverage in a generation, effectively banning private insurance coverage of abortion for millions of women.
