Impeach Bush

Dear Representative,

I lend my voice to the more than 300,000 people who demonstrated in Washington, DC on September 24th protesting the Bush administration's illegal war of aggression in Iraq. More than 600,000 have called for impeachment through the referendum at ImpeachBush.org and I am one. We demand that Congress take action to hold George W. Bush accountable for high crimes and misdemeanors and to introduce Articles of Impeachment.

President Bush and other high officials of his administration have lied to the people of the United States regarding the basis and necessity for war. He has sent the sons and daughters of the United States to war on false pretenses resulting in the death and maiming of thousands of U.S. service people and more than a hundred thousand Iraqis. He has violated his oath of office to uphold the Constitution. Additionally he has failed in his responsibilities to the safety of the people of the United States engaging criminal neglect in the handling of Hurricane Katrina.
